Fun day at the pool
It’s been pretty hot the last couple of days so we decided to spend an afternoon at the pool. Zoë’s is such an excellent little swimmer now. She’s at the point where she can swim across the width of the pool, popping her head up to take breaths along the way. We overheard 2 other parents saying “look at that little girl swimming” to their children.
This is absolutely what I live for

Can’t I just have a little peace and quiet?
Here I am bugging our little princess when all she wants to do is read

This is definitely Zoë
I think this picture really sums up one of the many moods of Zoë.
Our friend Rozemary has this to say:
“Ah! too darned cute!! She’s like “yes, I know I’m beautiful and you want to take my photo, but STOP, because I said so and I’m the princess!””

Zoë is available for catalog shoots…
Here’s Zoë modeling her latest fashions. She actually picked this dress out at the store and loves it.
As always, click on the pictures to see the full size image.

A site rarely photographed
Usually we are firm believers in letting a sleepy Zoë lie, but M was able to grab these great shots while Z was past due getting up from a nap.

What does Zoë say?
In an effort to help Zoë be a polite little girl, we have taught her that if she wants something, you say “please”. Typically this comes in the form of her pointing at something and then we ask “what do you say?” and she makes the sign for “please”. Lately, as her vocabulary has been growing, she has started actually saying the word. It comes out as “peeeease”, which is just too cute.
The other day Maryanne asked Zoë a few questions:
Maryanne: What does a monkey say?
Zoë: (makes a monkey sound)
Maryanne: What does a pirate say?
Zoë: (scrunches her eyes and says arrrrr)
Maryanne: What does Zoë say?
Zoë: peeeease!
